What will you be responsible for?

• As the NOC Manager you will be responsible for the management of all NOC staff, including those who participate on the 24x7 rota, including absence arrangements, reviews and monitoring/scheduling or workload
• The NOC Manager will oversee NOC performance whilst maintaining a 'hands on' approach to NOC workload
• The NOC Manager will review current processes and procedures to ensure updates are instigated as appropriate
• The NOC Manager will ensure proactive monitoring of alerts as received by various monitoring tools is in place, and initial diagnostic of incidents performed to agreed levels
• The NOC Manager will ensure logging of incidents, of either a reactive or proactive nature
• The NOC Manager will develop and maintain Incident Management processes, to include incident progression & providing updates to internal and external customers (where relevant) throughout lifetime of incident
• The NOC Manager will initiate resolution of incidents where possible, escalation to technical support teams and/or management as required
• The NOC Manager will develop health check measures for the team to perform on the Network as per Routine schedules
• The NOC Manager will perform trend analysis in order to highlight repeat issues and required problem investigations, thus ensuring service improvements
• The NOC Manager will ensure that customer and product related databases and information resources are maintained in an accurate and complete state
• The NOC Manager will document all work thoroughly and share as necessary
• The NOC Manager will manage access processes to enable Relish people and sub contractors access to the physical network in a timely but controlled manner
• The NOC Manager will manage communication with customers, Relish people and sub contractors during periods of planned work

What are we looking for?

• Background in other Network Control or Monitoring Centres (NMC / NOC etc.)
• Team Leader or Management experience of technical staff
• Able to communicate effectively with customers at both a Retail level & Business to Business
• Recent IP Networking experience & qualification
• Commercial approach, appreciates the importance of revenue achievement, margin control and ROI
• Competent in the use of MS tools
• Knowledge of Wireless Technologies and Configurations
• Knowledge of Mobile Network and/or Broadband Network
Soft skills:
• Ability to make decisions quickly and prioritise

This role would suit a NOC Manager or NOC Senior Team Leader, NOC Lead, NOC Team Lead with experience of working for telecommunications providers. Generous salary package including attractive bonus
