Your role will be to design, build and deliver exciting digital projects, design front-end and back-end integration systems from start to finish and work on the latest industry developments.

Part of the Travel Chapter Group, Holiday Cottages is an award-winning holiday letting company with over 25 years' experience specialising in quality holiday properties across the UK. We pride ourselves on our extensive and varied portfolio of properties, and always strive to exceed the expectations of our holidaymakers and property owners alike.
Fluent in a range of development languages, you'll work across a mix of digital projects (web and mobile), utilising your expertise.
You'll design, build and contribute to our day-to-day work, from Agile software discussions, to implementing front-end and back-end integration systems and designing secure new applications from start to finish.
You'll have input into project briefs to keep them running smoothly and to deadline
Complete project administration to ensure the team stays on the same page and produce user-friendly training documents for roll-out.
From a maintenance perspective, you'll oversee regular testing of new and existing code, run bug and root cause analysis to minimise system issues and prepare high quality code for scheduled release cycles
Passionate about technology, you'll keep informed on the latest industry developments, making practical recommendations for improvements to ensure we're continually moving forward as a business.
You'll have strong experience across front-end and back-end projects (including elements of eCommerce, CRm, SQL server, API interface and content management systems), plus Visual Studio and version control.
You will have strong numeracy and literacy skills, methodical, innovative, take initiative and work really collaboratively within a team
You will thrive in this role if you are pro-active and enjoy working in a fast-paced and versatile environment.
You'll have a clear grasp of UX, IX and IA requirements with an understanding of how they relate to digital marketing, creative design and content marketing.
Previous experience in a digital or integrated design agency setting would be beneficial as would an Agile or Waterfall certification (or good working knowledge of the approach)
