Do you want to be part of a growing organisation that has recently merged with 2 cutting edge organisations who specialise in real-time customer information applications? If so I could have the perfect opportunity for you. My client is going through an exciting period of growth and are now growing their Product Owner presence. They are in need of 3 Product Owners who ideally come from an Agile/SCRUM/KANBAN background to be based in Cambridge, Cardiff and Glasgow (1 in each location).
You will be the liaison between the IT development team and business stakeholders, the Product Owner must identify key functionality that could or would be brought into the product feature set. You must be able to articulate requirements in a manner which the business understands and that allows the development team to construct the end product. You will collaborate closely with both groups to ensure there is a clear understanding of what features are needed in the product by defining and prioritising stories for development.
The active management of a product or service throughout its lifecycle (inception through to retirement) in order to address a market opportunity /customer need and generate the greatest possible value for the business.
Experience in the following areas will be key to the role:
The definition and management of the business goals and scope of change initiatives. The specification of business requirements to a level that enables effective delivery of agreed changes.
The methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of all or part of a business in terms of business functions and processes, the information used and the data on which the information is based. The definition of requirements for improving processes and systems, reducing their costs, enhancing their sustainability, and the quantification of potential business benefits. The collaborative creation and iteration of viable specifications and acceptance criteria in preparation for the deployment of information and communication systems.
Evaluation of systems, products or services, to assure that the stakeholder and organisational requirements have been met, required practice has been followed, and systems in use continue to meet organisational and user needs. Iterative assessment (from early prototypes to final live implementation) of effectiveness, efficiency, user satisfaction, health and safety, and accessibility to measure or improve the usability of new or existing processes, with the intention of achieving optimum levels of product or service usability
The ability to work with customers to quickly understand business concepts, drivers and goals
Communication - Exemplary communication, interpersonal, influencing, and presentation skills are mandatory for this role.

Agile Scrum Methodology
Ability to understand, and clearly relate to other members of the organisation the business value of application development disciplines such as System Development Life Cycle, version control, and software releases
