The purpose of the role is to lead, coach and develop a team of inside sales professionals to attain targeted sales goals in line with company objectives.|
The successful candidate will come from an IT reseller or similar background and will have demonstrable people management experience.
You will be able to execute well-constructed sales plans in line with business goals/focus for target accounts, allocating the right activity to the right accounts, coach team members through to positive performance improvement objectives, create an environment in which team members increase accuracy and awareness of their own strengths and limitations, provide coaching, mentoring and developmental resources to continuously improve performance and regularly identify, communicate and review individuals' performance with positive outcomes
You will be able to brokers deals taking into account the needs/requirements of all parties, be able to "think on your feet", manage a network of positive vendor relationships in order to the team is informed of key products & solutions as well as managing the opportunity pipeline effectively and provide accurate forecasting,
Your skills will include the ability to demonstrates a track record managing an inside sales team to over target achievement for an IT reseller or vendor, the ability to build and execute robust business plans in line with company objectives to achieve targets, the evidence of supporting personal growth of team members through coaching and development plans and being able to demonstrate experience of supporting teams through periods of change by communicating the changes in a positive way
