BI Data Business Analyst - Peterborough|
Business Analyst required by a SaaS provider of Retail Data Analytics solutions and E-commerce/Payment system integration, working with some of the biggest names in the Retail/Ecommerce sector.
What is the situation?
We have multiple offices and multiple subsidiaries and business units all using a different approach to Data gathering and documentation due to using different systems and platforms. Therefore we are ideally looking for someone who has previous experience working specifically on data products and projects (eg Hadoop, Spark etc), be good with SQL and the technical side, but also be able to gather requirements from a complex set of stakeholders to ensure that the our raw data analytics is translated into a competitive advantage.
You will be doing this with the support of the Data Architect, and other Business Analysts in the company, via requirements gathering at all level of stakeholders, writing functional specifications and advising the Solution Architect on what features and customisations are needed, provide training and demo workshops etc. One of the key challenges will be to make sure that there is consolidation of the reporting and data analysis across the board for all offices in the company on an international scale.
In return you will be joining one of the organisations with the highest profit per employee, and get the opportunity to work on a really complex long-term international project.
