Principal Hydraulics Engineer - Permanent - Staffordshire - up to £55k |
As a result of a continued growth a new opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced Principal Hydraulics Engineer to join a highly skilled global team. You will lead major design and development projects focused on hydraulic sub-systems for new machine development programmes.
What Will You Do:
You'll take each project from concept to manufacture, managing budgets and schedules.
You could be working from an engineering brief or arrangement models promoting cost reduction and quality improvement, while encouraging innovation, helping us stay at the forefront of our field
Liaise with colleagues in other countries such as Brazil, China and India.
Ensuring a common design approach, Compiling systems design documentation and supporting formal design reviews
Development of future technologies prior to incorporation within new machine designs
What Do You Need:
Have a sound engineering background and be educated to degree level in a relevant subject
Be able to demonstrate significant experience of hydraulic machine systems design and development you can carry out analysis, calculations and hydraulic circuit design using tools such as Automation Studio. You can also handle test procedures, rig operation and test equipment
Have experience in the management of project teams, including 3rd party suppliers and specialist consultants
