Interface Manager
1. Purpose of the Job
Supporting the Business in managing the interface between the delivery team(s), System wide, other interfacing contractors and or more third party (LO/NR/Berkeley Homes/ TfL / Royal Docks / London City Airport /Local Authorities/ local businesses and residents), including access, operational, infrastructure protection, engineering, construction and implementation functions in accordance with the relevant management plan.
2. Principal Accountabilities
Provide planning, procedural and access guidance and services to project teams.
Acting as the first point of contact when dealing with relevant third party.
Acting as the custodian of and manager for the suite of documents and trackers used by the project teams to identify and manage 'Interface Works' that are on, or impact upon the relevant third party infrastructure, along with disruptive access requirements affecting their operational railway.
Providing the lead on governance and reporting through joint working groups.
Managing submittal trackers and expediting submittals through the delivery teams.
Managing the Project Technical Requests interface with the third party.
Working closely with interface contractors on development and implementation of ICDs. C-IDCs.
Managing project interests relating to access and closure planning.
Managing assigned interface personnel.
Producing interface management guidance notes and procedures for the delegation of interface and access management to others in the delivery team.
Acting as single point of contact for infrastructure / asset protection in accordance with the relevant infrastructure protection plan.
Compiling and agreeing interface procedures between delivery team and third party, and ensuring obligation are completed by all parties.
Take reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety and of those who may be affected in the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working to the client's Target Zero principles.
Co-operate with The client's in all matters relating to health and safety, including following safe working procedures at all times.
Act as a role model for the client's vision and values, behaving in ways that are in alignment with the client's Ways of Working. Encourage and support others to do so too,
Promote equality in the workplace and adopt appropriate behaviour when interacting with colleagues.
Take necessary care to properly protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of corporate information from unauthorised disclosure, modification or destruction. Never knowingly put the client's information or information systems at risk.

Supporting the Business in:
Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with the respective third party teams.
Maintaining rigorous compliance with third party processes and procedures.
4. Dimensions & Interfaces (Internal and External)
Key working relationships
Reporting to Project manager C530.
Working closely with Construction Managers, Engineering Managers, Project Business Managers, Project Field Engineers and third party representatives.
5. Person Specification
Knowledge of third party environment and relevant processes and procedures.
Engineering and construction knowledge within major infrastructure environment.
Experience of managing complex internal and external interfaces
