A leading supplier of precision machined components to multiple industries including Aerospace & Defence, Automotive and Oil & Gas are looking for a Quality Manager to join their successful team.

The key responsibilities of the Quality Manager are as follows:
* Maintain the company Quality Management System to ISO9001 & AS9100
* Ensure ongoing compliance to customer specific quality requirements
* Completion of FAIR & PPAP documentation
* Customer complaint investigation & resolution
* Carrying out and evaluating R & R studies (MSA)
* Use of CMM (ability to programme CMMs is an advantage)
* Preparing and managing audits by external auditors (e.g. BSI)
* Carrying out first-article (1st Off) inspections and completing reports

The successful Quality Manager will have the following skills / experience
* Strong quality engineering background within precision engineering
* Conversant with ISO9001 - AS9100 is a strong advantage
* Experience of maintaining Quality Management Systems
* Supplier & Customer liaison experience
* Strong problem solving & root cause analysis skills (8D, 5Y, Ishikawa, etc.)
* Experience of compiling PPAP / FAIR documentation
* Knowledge of statistical tools (SPC, MSA, R&R Studies)
* Quality inspection experience, CMM programming experience an advantage
