Location: Greater Manchester, Trafford

Salary: £50,000-£55,000 + package

3DPersonnel's client is an Engineering & Construction company, with offices and projects throughout the UK and Overseas. They have a number of different divisions, including; Energy, Oil & Gas, Water, International, Process and Control & Automation. They has provided high quality services to the municipal and industrial water markets across the UK and beyond for over 50 years

3DPersonnel's client is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Systems Integration Manager to be based in their Trafford office. This role requires an understanding of the project lifecycle from concept through to completion. This includes the development and review of Design Documentation, configuration of PLC's, SCADA, HMI, Testing and commissioning.

As a Senior Manager your responsibilities will be primarily management of design and implementation of control systems, coupled with the ability to communicate and present well to provide associated advisory services. Activities include:

* Design documentation
* Review of control system software design and implementation
* Review of control system hardware design
* Liaison with clients
* Work as part of a team
* Participating in the tendering process
* Report writing and surveying
* Review of Industrial Ethernet network design and testing
* Factory acceptance test specification documentation
* Client facing factory acceptance testing
* Generation of risk assessments and method statements
* Management of onsite installation, testing and process commissioning
* Training documentation
* Operation and maintenance documentation
* Maintain good client relations throughout the project lifecycle
* Management of subcontractors & Engineers


Applicants should have a Degree in a relevant IT or engineering subject and member of the relevant engineering bodies.

A bright individual, you must possess the following skills:

* Good written and communication skills
* Good interpersonal skills
* A history of working in the water industry (previously worked with United Utilities would be advantageous
* Some mechanical and process understanding would be desirable
* Possess an interest in industrial control and automation
* CSCS card
