About the Job:
The client requires a Nuclear Training Skills Manager to ensure efficient support to the business for the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process. The company have a responsibility to ensure that all personnel who have a role or responsibility for any operations that may affect nuclear safety are trained so that they are competent to perform those tasks. The training identified is to be devised using a Systematic Approach to Training which involves design, development and implementation of suitable training. This training is then evaluated to ensure it has met its objectives and that those assessed are competent to carry out their tasks.
This post will have management responsibilities of a team of SAT practitioners; acting as the subject matter expert for advice and guidance on the SAT process, providing coaching and mentoring to both the team and the business in support of the roll out and implementation of the SAT improvement programme.
To be the right fit for this Nuclear Training Skills Manager job, you will have proven experience of working in a management role and demonstrable nuclear industry experience. Experience in a training environment, communicating with all levels of management internal and external also need strong project management skills and a sound knowledge in STEM subject areas. Must be able to provide management reports including statistical data for business planning purposes. to the business. You will Experience of working in a regulated environment would be an advantage as would having good QC and QA practices in order to maintain high quality standards of training documentation.
Nuclear Training Skills Manager / Practitioner
37 hours a week
Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to sole British Citizens. Applicants who meet this criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
