Due to our increasing workload we are currently seeking a Graduate/Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer with to join our Building Services team in Nottingham.

About the role

You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to innovative and challenging projects in a variety of sectors, including education, healthcare, defense, commercial, utilities.

Key skills and experience:
- Qualifications: relevant HND or degree
- Some relevant experience of electrical building services design is essential (including emergency lighting and fire alarm design)
- Knowledge and understanding of BS7671
- Lighting design software experience - Hevacomp and/or Dialux
- Familiarity with AutoCAD - essential; experience in using Revit MEP - desirable
- Structured wiring system and security systems design experience - desirable
- Excellent communication skills (including report, letter and email writing): able to liaise with clients, contractors, manufacturers, fellow professionals
