The UK project office is a full service provider offering system design and integration, advanced warehouse software systems and a full suite of material handling equipment to help customers increase manufacturing productivity and maximise ROI. Keen to expand their established footprint in the UK they wish to appoint a dynamic and visionary Business Development professional.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Business Development will take responsibility to grow UK market share. Creating and deploying the strategy you will identify new customers and increase sales with existing customers. Through excellent relationship management, sales planning and business development ability you will secure large value, complex engineering projects. These will focus on technical engineering solutions related to production flow technology, automated material conveying systems and automated production flow line systems. Supported by an experienced technical team, you will ensure all aspects of value, margin and customer delivery targets are met. Working in a collaborative environment you will interact closely with customers and international project development teams.
You will have demonstrable success in conceptual sales incorporating technical engineering solutions related to factory automation, production line automation or process flow technology systems. An accomplished business development professional, you will have experience of specification analysis, defining technical proposals, pricing, negotiation and closing sales. Key to success is your ability to lead business development activities in new industry sectors. Your experience includes executive level business development discussions, negotiations of contracts, account planning, as well as short and long term opportunity identification. Persuasive, persistent but always professional you will welcome the opportunity to be a brand ambassador for an internationally recognised automated material handling systems company.
