Hydraulic Modeller |
£40 - £45 per hour
12 months minimum contract term
Our Client are a leading water sector Consultancy who have a need for a proven Hydraulic Modeller based from Reading.
The role will encompass:
•Provide Technical Support on Water Distribution projects to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery for internal and external clients.
•Support on hydraulic modelling studies using industry standard software (Infoworks / SynerGEE etc) as well as other projects requiring detailed technical analysis.
•Provide technical capability on water and / or wastewater projects as part of a project team.
•Assist the Senior Engineer in the management / co-ordination of projects, or act as Project Manager on smaller projects.
•Provide guidance to, and manage the work of Graduate and Technicians working on the same projects.
•Attend and contribute to project meetings internally and with clients.
•Raise the profile of the company by attending and presenting papers at industry conferences.
•Undertake own continuing professional development under guidance from Line Managers.
•Operate in accordance with the corporate health and safety, environmental and quality standards.
•Work may require travel in the UK or abroad to office and / or sites
The ideal candidate:
•HND/C or Degree in an Engineering, Environmental or Numerate Science related subject.
•Ideally progressing toward professional membership of a relevant institution.
•Broad understanding of water and wastewater projects within the UK Water Industry
•Experience of one or more areas of UK Water industry projects.
•Network modelling using Infoworks WS and SynerGEE
•Asset Performance Assessments / Reviews.
•Feasibility Studies / Options Development.
The role offers a rate of £40-£45 per hour and a long term duration
