Stockkeeper Engineers are expected to perform a variety of maintenance tasks generally associated with a large stockroom in the Product Engineering Area. Stockkeepers will perform all functions associated with a Shipping/Receiving operation. These tasks will include the following: receive and unload incoming material and tally into receiving register,store parts and material and issue as directed, conduct inventory, package parts for shipment to field test sites, vendors and other GDLS facilities, handle bulk material and large items utilizing Hi-Lo's and Stackers, drive material to other locations as directed utilizing company vehicle, input data into company computer system, ensure that receiving and shipping papers are in proper order, determine the quantities of the various items which are to be carried in stock. Determine obsolescence and arrange for removal of obsolete stock.. Travel to various test site locations. Must have the ability to communicate across various organizational levels.|
Must possess a valid drivers license. Must be able to perform heavy lifting. Must have experience with Oracle Application related to Inventory receipt and issue. Must be willing to work flexible hours and weekends as necessary. Must be able to build shipping crates. Previous wood working a plus. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Hi-Lo Drivers License. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Chauffeur's drivers license making it possible for the candidate to drive company vehicles up 22,000 lb. load capacity. Must be will to travel, must be able to obtain Security Clearance, must be self motivated and able to work in a team oriented environment. Must be able to travel on short notice, must have fluent computer skills, familiar with Microsoft, working knowledge of oracle and office applications, lotus notes, DMIS a plus.
