WSP|Parsons Brinckerhoff is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer in the 1 Penn Plaza office. Typical job duties and responsibilities of the geotechnical engineer include:
      • Perform engineering analysis for infrastructure projects related to highways, bridges, tunnels, buildings, airports, railroad facilities and other civil infrastructure
      • Plan and execute subsurface investigation and laboratory testing programs such as field reconnaissance, field logging of soil and rock borings for a variety of projects, review test results
      • Perform geotechnical design and analysis for foundations, embankments, retaining walls, excavations, tunnels and underground structures
      • Identify and define scope, methods, technical approach, and prices for proposals
      • Perform numerical analysis and geotechnical/foundation using various geotechnical software
      • Prepare geotechnical reports and recommendations
      • Prepare design drawings and technical specifications

Job Requirements
Education Required:
      • Master's degree in Civil Engineering
Experience/Skills Required:
      • Two years of experience in geotechnical design and construction of shallow and deep foundations, retaining walls, sheet pile wall for infrastructure projects
      • Proficiency in planning and developing geotechnical exploration program and geotechnical boring inspection
      • Proficiency in PLog, gINT, Settle3D, LPILE, ALLPile, SLOPE/W and AutoCAD

The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately.
