PCB Assembly Operative Negotiable Plus Benefits Our client is looking for an Assembly Operative to join their successful team. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for the assembly of printed circuit boards. You will be a key member of the team maintaining the supply of high quality defect free assemblies. At all times, you will be expected to provide assistance to the Manufacturing Manager and other members of the team. You will be required to keep up with production demands as detailed on the production schedule and advise the Manufacturing Manager of any issues relating to material supply and resource so adjustments can be made to the workload if required. Key Duties Include:To contribute to the production operation ensuring products are manufactured to the highest NA checksForm components, bin and label material for assembly of productAlign, fit, and assemble component parts, using hand tools, power tools and fixturesUse Cropmatic plates an cropping machineUse flow solder machine to process (solder) productsInspecting materials to insure supplied material has no signs of damage or defectsDe-panel PCB assembliesCarry out minor rework on assembles productInstall electrical and electronic parts and hardware to PCB assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand toolsEntering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic NA drawings, job packs, parts lists and technical specifications to determine methods and sequences of assemblyAssist in the movement of material and assemblies around the manufacturing siteAssist in the training of others to in the department Key Skills Include:Good knowledge of electronic components Good hand eye coordinationGood manual dexterity Good organisational skills The ability to imagine how something will look after it is assembledThe ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in NA ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will NA goods to high standardsAbility to work to schedules and deadlinesGood team playerComputer literacy Exceptional housekeepingHave a pro-active approach and demonstrate ability to achieve results This is a permanent role.
