Installation Engineer This customer facing role involves working on customer sites Monday - Friday across the UK and Ireland with occasional travel to other areas of Europe You will join ARX Limited a company in the Becton Dickinson group. ARX is a cutting-edge and market-leading provider of CareFusion Rowa medical automation solutions to hospitals and pharmacy This role will involve delivery, set out, installation and initial testing of robotic solutions It will include use of AutoCAD and other software tools to review drawings, installation process and assembly standards as well as part information You will be joining the installation team reporting into the team leader and Installation Manager. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Safe offloading, receipt and delivery of parts to installation location Following company and customer health and safety requirement Following company procedures and process for safe and technically correct installation Correct behaviour on customer premises Maintaining clean and tidy work environment at all times Own and fellow team members health and safety Completing own administration in a timely manner, eg timesheets and expenses Act in a professional manner at all times, promoting companies ethics and values Carry out other reasonable tasks as requested by line manager Installation includes; Assembly and levelling of machine frameAssembly and fitting of electrical componentsFitting of panels and cut outsHanging and fitting conveyors and transitions and outputsWiring of low voltage controlsFitting and wiring of control PCsFitting glass shelvesCleaning system and site after installationClearing packaging waste City and Guilds / BTEC qualification or equivalent in a mechanical engineering / electrical discipline Construction Skills Certification Scheme card or equivalent is desirable but not essential SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES Self-motivated individual with clear focus, able to work in small team under pressure; Evidence of practical engineering experience and competence Evidence of safe working attitude towards self and others; Ability to interpret information; Good oral and written communication skills; Evidence of completing and finishing tasks to a high standard; Able to represent the company at all times; well presented, polite, courteous, punctual; Proven mechanical aptitude; Knowledge of low voltage supplies and wiring (preferred; UK full driving licence
