Ventilation Service EngineerLocation: High Wycombe, BuckinghamshireSalary: 30,000 - 35,000 DOE plus NA: Full time, permanentDue to expansion, we are recruiting for a high calibre Ventilation Service EngineerThe Role: We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer for the UK based in central Buckinghamshire to work on wide range of ventilation products within the HVAC Industry. Daily duties include both hands-on and administrative tasks in the field and office alike This position assumes a key role by being the front line assisting customers and installers at every stage including start-up and commissioning of equipment, performing planned maintenance, responding to call-outs when required, troubleshooting and carrying out repairs if necessary Communicating and reporting technical information is key to this role, and the ability to provide clear and concise technical product support both internally and externally is essential The capability to understand technical specifications and drawings and then to advise and design possible ventilation solutions is also a requirement The role requires demonstrable electronic and electrical knowledge preferably in the HVAC Industry, the ability to maintain a high technical level of product knowledge, customer focused, team oriented, flexibility and proactivity Responsibilities & Accountabilities Maintain a high level of customer service in a professional and timely manner and uphold Company standards with a conscientious and pro-active approachEndeavour to provide a high level of customer satisfactionProvide technical and service support to customers, colleagues and other service professionals as requiredMaintain clear, concise and effective business communication proficiently, both verbal and writtenDocument all site visits completing internal reports and updating Company systems in a timely mannerConsult notes and reports regarding open issues and prepare formal customer reports as necessaryComply with regulatory, legal and industry regulations and ensure compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policiesProvide product support training where necessaryDevelop Service technical documentation and processesProvide technical support in a sales office environment and recommend solutions for wide range of ventilation productsTo prepare written quotations based upon list prices or costing informationBe flexible in approach when required to cover during colleagues absenceOther duties as required commensurate with the capabilities of a Service Engineer Key Competencies & Requirements Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Service or related HNC/HNDMinimum of two years previous experience providing mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering services, trouble shooting, and field maintenance and repairs preferably in theHVAC IndustryStrong customer service skills and the ability to interact confidently with customers andcolleagues to provide support and training on products and systemsThe ability to interpret and communicate technical data with a well-developed ability toeffectively and productively communicate it both verbally and in writingUnderstanding of architectural drawings and technical specificationsExperience of reading, understanding and interpreting technical reportsQuality focussed with a proactive approach to technical challengesProven analytical, logical, and quantitative skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines within a tight scheduleFluent English, both spoken and written is essentialA working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelAbility to work in a cross-cultural, cross functional, matrix organizationExperience of using and updating a CRM system would be an advantageWorking knowledge of AutoCAD would be an advantageClean Driving licence Key Objectives & Targets Ensure customer support and satisfactionCommunicate effectively and proficientlyEnsure accuracy and completeness of work and reportingEnsure all activities comply with regulatory and Company requirements Additional Benefits 25 days holiday per annum pro rata (plus public and bank holidays)Contributory Pension Scheme after successful 3/6-month probationary period up to 3%Death in Service benefit after successful 3/6-month probationary periodPrivate Health Insurance after successful 3/6-month probationary periodOn-going (professional) training If you feel you have the skills and experiences required for this role then apply today!Keywords: Service, Maintenance, Chiller, Cooling, HVAC, Breakdown, Air Conditioning, Installation Engineer, VRF Systems, Spilts, FGAS, CSCS, Refrigeration, Health & Safety, 2079, J11
