Installation Project Manager - Oxfordshire An Installation Project Manager / Project Manager is required for a well established fire & security company based in the Oxfordshire area. Our client is seeking a project manager with previous experience in the fire and security industry, who can effectively manage and deliver installations to completion, and building good customer relations in order to secure ongoing maintenance contracts to be handed over to the service team. Some of the key responsibilities include - Design verification of jobs and handover from the sales team to ensure the job has been sold correctly and is profitableDeliver an improved margin on job completionEnsuring engineers have all resources and paperwork required to complete their works without issue and on scheduleKeeping Job Costing up to date on the Cash systemSite visits - start jobs off on site with engineers as required, attend any contractor or client meetingsDay to day engineer management and sub-contractor labour negotiationClient handovers on completionWork with service team to ensure smooth and correct handover of all new installations to service The role will see you reporting directly to the Installation Operations manager, spending up to 60% of your time at office, 40% in the field and on site with customers. Suitable candidates MUST be able to demonstrate a proven background in the fire and security industry, with a strong knowledge of installation of products withing all types of properties from public to commercial. Must also have excellent planning, organizational and time management skills, be able to develop and maintain client relationships in person and over the phone, as well as being able to liaise with various departments of the business including sales / administration / customer service. Applicants will be expected to attend meetings with clients, as well as having an on site presence managing installations and ensuring engineers are carrying out work to required standard.
