SUEZ recycling & recovery UK are looking to recruit a Regional Manager to manage its SRF and RDF Production facilities within the South East Region taking a leading role in the optimisation of the Tilbury SRF Operations. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a senior member of the regional processing team, responsible for the overall management of our network of RDF/MRF and SRF facilities with the overriding objectives of developing a first class production environment, fostering lean principles within our operational culture and driving sustainable commercial growth. Within this role you will manage a business with annualised revenues of approximately 15m/pa, along with full P&L responsibility and accountability for the delivery of challenging profitability targets. Your key focus within the role will be to optimise the performance of the facilities to extract maximum feedstock value, whilst minimising production costs and maintaining product quality, in line with the companys vision of living in a society where there is no more waste. You will have an important role in ensuring close collaboration with SUEZs commercial and logistics functions to ensure the profitable growth of our wider business, in line with the needs of our customers and the markets within which we operate. You will also be responsible for ensuring that SUEZ maintains an engaged and productive workforce striving always to ensure that it has a satisfied and loyal customer base. We are seeking a high calibre and ambitious individual with a proven track record of mutli-site operational management, within a lean production environment. A background and previous history of managing production facilities within the waste, aggregates or other heavy engineering sectors would be ideal; however we are also keen to hear from candidates within other manufacturing industries where the challenges of managing a variable feedstock to produce a high quality product have been foremost. Applicants must possess proven leadership qualities, financial reporting and the formulation of/adherence to budgets. Effective communication, motivational, organisational and negotiation skills are necessary prerequisites for managing this diverse business.
