MAIN DUTIES: Be aware of both individual and departmental expected standards, objectives, targets and commitments of the WIKA Sales Charter and ensure they are maintained at all times. Respond in a professional and technically competent manner to customer enquiries within the time frame expected by the enquirer and in accordance to the WIKA Sales Charter. The main objective is, of course, winning the order. Provide professional and responsive query resolution and outstanding customer service. Work with the Area Sales Manager, Product Sales Manager and Customer Service Representative to retain all current business and win new business. Take ownership of the complete sales process from enquiry through to payment, which will involve co-ordinating activity with colleagues and other departments where necessary. Work with the Customer Service Representative to ensure orders are processed correctly, within the agreed time frame and in accordance with the Companys procedures, WIKA Sales Charter and work instructions. Ensure Enquiry to Quote Turnaround Time is according to Area, Division & Company Dashboard targets. Ensure robust quotation follow-ups are carried out according to Area, Division & Company Dashboard targets and log details of the follow-ups in the Activity fields within Axapta. Closely monitor buying and selling prices to maximise gross margins and achieve the maximum selling price. Customer specific purchase and selling price records must be updated and clearly visible within our computer system. Investigate customer claims, complaints and facilitate satisfactory resolution. Actively contribute to the continuous improvement process, including Kaizen activities & commitment to the WIKA Sales Charter. Keep clear records of activities and calls using the Document Handling; CRM and Activities within Axapta or alternatively within the departments shared folder. Work with the Internal Sales Managers on other projects and assignments where appropriate. CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION: Must be technically minded with experience in a technical and or electronic discipline. Must have experience working within a sales environment. Process Instrumentation Industry experience and knowledge would be advantageous. Must be educated to 'A Level standard or equivalent, technical qualification would be advantageous. Knowledge of a CRM / ERP system would be advantageous. Good competent knowledge of all Microsoft Office programmes. Must have a pro-active, can-do attitude. Must be able to offer a good degree of flexibility where workload permits. Literate with effective communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to communicate confidently with both external and internal customers and suppliers. Must be organised and skilled in time management. Must be enthusiastic and self-motivated. Must be able to effectively prioritise and manage workloads.
