Technical OperatorFull Time PermanentSalary: 31,000 + Shift Pattern: 4 on 6 off (2 days on 7am-7pm, 2 nights on 7pm-7am then six days off)My client who are a well known industry manufacturer are recruiting for a senior Technical Operator role. The successful candidate will be a fully integrated member of the production team in order to manufacture safely. To maintain and improve the day to day operational efficiency of production and manufacturing machinery and area assets, by ensuring regular and efficient maintenance is carried out and problems solved effectively and quickly in order to meet business needs at all NA Description The main duties include being capable and able of running an automated manufacturing production line, and have good understanding mechanically and electrically Ensure that all machinery safety protection is in place and in working order Take seriously the safety of your colleagues/yourself in your operational area and to take actions to promote the required safety standards, challenging all instances of unsafe behaviour Adhere to all company health and safety requirements Provide solutions to failure situations, liaising with Process / Mechanical / Electrical Engineers Trouble shoot equipment/process problems in conjunction with team members to ensure rapid resolution of problems Assist the team to overcome operating and quality problems-checking equipment against centreline settings and investigating causes of deviations Responsible for identifying and investigating problems on the production lines and identifying/implementing effective solutions Identification of issues for planned maintenance Initiate, recommend and contribute towards continuous improvement activities Ensure that lubrication is carried out Act as a first trouble shooting technical reference point Provide comprehensive information about failures and actions taken so that the RST can determine and implement preventative actions Assist maintenance workload, on shift and during planned shuts Assist the team to overcome operating and quality problems Be an integral part of the team, setting high personal standards and working closely with external support to minimise downtime Ensure all production is made within quality control parametersPerson Specification Good understanding of the mechanical and electrical operation of production and manufacturing achinery, with at least 2+ years experience in a Technical Operator role capacity Mechanical / Electrical qualification of NVQ or City and Guilds Level 3 Experience of working on pneumatics and hydraulic systems and in a manufacturing FMCG environment Fully UK Driving Licence (preferably clean)If you want to find out more details or you meet the requirement and wish to apply, please send your Cv to NAeed Specialist Recruitment Limited is an employment agency and employment business
