Our business is based on the design, delivery and then maintenance of small and large scale engineering projects for our customers. A critical piece in the success of these projects is in supporting the transition of the project to the customer at go-live. Purpose of RoleTo provide technical and customer-facing support focussing on theseamless transition of projects from the project execution phase through go live and operational ramp up. To manage and utilise appropriate resources to effect this NA Responsibilities Focus on supporting the delivery of a working solution to the customer Look to migrate overall responsibility from the project team to the early life team Principal customer point of contact in post go-live environment Focus on closing out project issues Planning allocation of internal departmental resources to execute requirements Planning and delivery of ramp-up and launch support Planning and delivery of project as-built documentation The development and facilitation of all customer training requirements Post-delivery vendor management Provide continuous feedback to the Engineering, Project Execution and Sales teams to highlight areas for improvement and areas of success Review offers prior to submission to ensure the deliverability of the design / scope / solution Provide lessons-learned matrix for internal improvements activity Manage activity within agreed budgets and mitigate NCCs Ensure project warranty is controlled within the confines of the customer agreement Conduct customer survey(s) Provide internal metrics measuring performanceKnowledge and Experience Required Degree / HND or equivalent qualification in Maths, Science or Engineering discipline or equivalent by experience. Experience of project work within the materials handling industry, with specific customer management skills relating to project or service delivery. Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Project and other MS office suite applications. Lean, Six Sigma qualification would be an advantageAbove all will be a desire to facilitate issue management and solutions around the business and driving lessons learnt in to our sales process and project delivery functions.
