Are you a Project Engineer or would you like to be? Based in Radstock our client is looking for a candidate with excellent customer service and design experience. Can you produce 2D/3D designs using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD? If so we would like to hear from NA work as an integral part of the Bespoke / Engineering team providing design support to all stakeholders and ensuring departmental objectives are NA and maintaining 2D / 3D CAD details, product designs and manufacturing drawings for internal use and for client's specific NA review - revise and re-issue commented NA bills of materials and production routes from drawings as required to an agreed programme and manage engineering change NA requests for information, query sheets as required and monitor NA own progress against contract programme and report progress on a regular NA all elements to a project including drawing schedules, general arrangement drawings, working drawings, fabrication information and production NA design and technical support for all other departments as NA & Customer Service:Being a front of house role the highest levels of customer service and communication must be provided to all customers, both internal and external, at all NA ability to communicate clearly and fluently both verbally and in writing. Requirements:To be successful in this role for you will need the following skills and experience.*3D modelling all aspects using Autodesk Inventor.*2D detail drawing using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.*The ability to use Microsoft Office and a knowledge of MRP systems.*Interpret customer specifications and produce robust design solutions.*Able to work independently without direct supervision.*Able to work within a close knit team.*Very hands on working fast to tight deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously. *A broad knowledge of various manufacturing processes is required including metal fabrication, machined parts, assembly techniques.*Preferably HNC/Degree level qualification in Mechanical (Design) Engineering or similar technical discipline.*To be willing to think through problems and initiate imaginative approaches to solutions.*The ability to understand and apply commercially sensible financial decisions. *Previous experience of working within any of the following industries will be of interest; * General manufacturing, interiors (Fire protection), doors & windows or constructionIf you have the above skills and would like to be considered for this role, please send your current CV or call Bee for more NA Recruitment (South West) Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency where this vacancy is concerned.
