Project Engineer Our client specialise in the provision of progression punching, blanks & notching, and specialised in aluminium rotor die-casting. Due to market demand there is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer to join their current team. Project Engineer Purpose of the role: To support the engineering personnel, their activities and departmental NA manage and be a primary driver of NPI liaising closely with Internal and External NA provide site support for all associated process engineering NA provide technical knowledge and industry expertise to plan cost-effective production / processes improvements within the business. To manage both the development of the applicable process and also final product to ensure it meets industry standards and complies with government laws and NA use computer modelling software to test how new machinery and or technology could improve the speed of production. Responsibilities and Duties: Liaise with customers and Key Account Managers as required, generating project timing plans and NA in accordance with specified policies and procedures in a competent NA projects in line with planned NA identification, prioritization and execution of activities and or corrective actions, to satisfy its business & operating NA in accordance with specified policies and procedures in a competent NA projects in line with planned NA of a lead role, in the structuring of corrective action activities, with the objective of continually improving efficiencies, by the use of: - Emerging and current technology. - Engineering data, Studies and Statistics. Using Analysis tools including but not limited to: - Pareto Analysis, APQP, Cycle time Analysis, Lean trouble shooting etc. Liaison with External and or Professional/ Technical bodies. Ensuring that at all times there is absolute adherence, to company Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety requirements / NA ensure FMEA and PPAP activities associated with NPI, product transfers and launches are NA all associated capital acquisition activities from specifying equipment, contract negotiation, Installation and validation in accordance with company NA data, Studies and NA manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materialsImproving manufacturing efficiency by analysing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment NA product and process quality by design in process capability quality NA manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labour, and material, analysing, and summarizing NA design and development projects by training and guiding employees. Person: Must be able to communicate at all NA be a team player and able to support other departmental activities and follow NA have a High level of PC NA have good analytical skills and should be NA have good leadership skills and communication NA have a Flexible approach to working NA be a Self-starter that can demonstrate efficient work methods, analytical & problem solving skillsAbility to handle multiple NA be capable of working as part of a multi-disciplined NA have experience of working within Quality / Management Systems - ISO 14001, ISO 9000, TS16949 or similar. Qualifications: Ideally to HNC in Engineering or equivalentCAD knowledge an NA an experienced Engineer and have worked within a similar environment and position.
