Our client based in North East is a large international manufacturer and looking for an experienced Calibration Technician to join their team. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, calibrate, alter / modify equipment and systems to the company calibration standardsWork with and arrange work with internal and external customersContribute and comply with the sites calibration plans / proceduresTroubleshoot, maintain, adjust and repair, calibrate and install equipment with calibration functions, controllers, electronic circuits and mechanical componentsUse test equipment and instruments to calibrate, repair and test apparatus, equipment and systemsWorking from drawings, layouts and other specifications to fault find and diagnose problems in the systems or equipmentAny other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to timeWork with other users / staff to provide expertise and ensure efficient and reliable operations, calibrationsDocument procedures and practices utilised whilst carrying out the calibration dutiesUse the department record systems, including computerised systems, to maintain precise, accurate recordsContribute fully to the site Health, Safety and Environment requirementsProvide support during Quality and Regulatory auditsAdherence to cGMPSupport the Calibration and Validation of all relevant components for the site and evaluating impact on the plant and warehouse in conjunction with the engineering teamMonitor accuracy of all calibration equipment and NA reporting of the calibration cycle Person Specification: Qualified to ONC and aboveSelf-motivated with the ability to work under pressureStrong Communication skills with the ability to liaise with candidates at all levelsHas up to date knowledge of regulatory, legal and HSE requirements relevant to their NA teamwork, motivates, coaches and supports NA that GMP & EH/S are followed at all times
