Cobham Helicopter Services has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner with strong TUPE and Project Management experience. This is a dual faceted role, 50% of the role will be working on a major TUPE transfer in a unionised environment, the other 50% will be focused on HR added value project work. This will include an Organisation Design project and development, Performance Management, Talent Management, Change Management. The HR Project Lead will be an integral member of the TUPE transition team responsible all HR input - communications, TUPE process management, change management associated with the transition. The role will also support other HR project activity as required and detailed below. Location Basingstoke with occasional other UK travel required. Cobham Helicopter Services, which is part of Cobham Aviation Services, provides customers with integrated services for airborne special mission operations. Its capabilities include aerial surveillance, operational readiness training, aircraft modification and integration, search and rescue, and environment surveillance and response. As a HR Project lead your skills and qualifications will ideally include: Experience - Significant HR experience at a senior management level ideally within the Aviation industry Recent experience of management of complex TUPE projects Educational Vocational Qualifications - Degree calibre or equivalent relevant experience - MCIPD - Broad experience in all areas of HR (e.g., resourcing, employee relations, talent management) and providing HR advice at a senior business level - Sound knowledge of employment law and specifically legislation and best practice regarding TUPE regulations Ability to operate in a geographically diverse matrix organisation using influence via dotted line As HR Project Lead TUPE your responsibilities will include: Communications and consultation across all UK sites - including development of the Social plan, communications plan and lead the consultation process with stakeholders - management team, employees, Unions(UNITE,BALPA) and transferorsManagement of the TUPE process for up to 4 projectsChange management and employee engagementSupport the transition plan for engineering and flight operations management and staff to ensure the transition is smoothCoordinate the HR activity associated with 4 key Projects Organisation Design Project HR data support for the OD project (In liaison with HR team o Staff numbers and costs for UK and overseas locations o Organisation structures o Staffing scenarios o Drafting RASCI and JDs as required. Implementation support for the new HS operating model (with Head of HR HS) o Coordinate implementation plans per functional area o Lead stakeholder engagement and communication process o Review Job descriptions as per new organisation structure and role scope o Lead change management process for the transition to the new operating model.
