We have been appointed to lead a search for an experienced BMS Project Manager, to manage major Projects in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your career in building management systems Project Management with one of the leading Trend Technology Centres in the UK. This well respected and established systems house has recently won some new projects and is looking for a dynamic and forward thinking candidate. The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for ensuring the projects are delivered on time, on budget and leaving a satisfied customer. Key responsibilities: Take projects from a sales handover, interpret and understand quote and scope of works or specification and at look to improve as sold gross margin & be responsible for health and safety management on all managed projects. You would regularly monitor, review, and report on the progress of all projects, progress, delays, and resourcing amendments to the customer and prepare sales valuations, sales variations and request customer orders or instruction before proceeding with works. Manage sales application process. In addition, create purchase requisitions for staff, suppliers, sub-contractors and approve purchase invoices for payment. Manage purchase application process. Ensure standard documents are continually used and maintained. These include but are not restricted to programme of works, progress schedules, technical submittals, RFIs and risk / opportunity register. Utilise and interact with project engineers where required. Skills & knowledge Experience of engineering and/or commissioning Building Management Systems Minimum 5 years experience of project management in the construction industry Experience of managing significant sized projects typically ranging from 500,000 to 1million Demonstrable experience in producing and managing a programme of works Demonstrable experience in managing sales / purchase budgets. Experience in managing customer expectations and creating repeat business opportunities. E xperience of managing health and safety in a construction environment Experience with design and build sub-contracts Relevant qualifications CITB / SMSTS H&S accreditation or IOSH equivalent ECS CSCS accreditation Holds a recognised project management qualification Prince2 Educated to degree level
