Installation Team Leader Salary circa 28,000 to 30,000 depending on experience 3k bonus Company car Laptop & mobile phone This customer facing role involves working on customer sites Monday - Friday across the UK and Ireland with occasional travel to other areas of Europe This role will involve delivery, set -out, installation and initial testing of robotic solutions. It will include use of AutoCAD and other software tools to review drawings, installation process and assembly standards as well as part information You will be joining the installation group reporting into the Installation Manager. Principal Responsibilities Managing and leading team of 2-4 installation engineers on installations at customer sitesSafe offloading, receipt and delivery of parts to installation locationFollowing company and customer health and safety requirementsFollowing company procedures and process for safe and technically correct installationCorrect behaviour on customer premisesMaintaining clean and tidy work environment at all timesOwn and fellow team members health and safetyCompleting own administration in a timely manner, eg timesheets and expensesAct in a professional manner at all times, promoting companies ethics and valuesCarry out other reasonable tasks as requested by line manager Education and experience City and Guilds or BTEC qualification in an electrical disciplineConstruction Skills Certification Scheme card or equivalent is desirable but not essentialProven mechanical aptitudeKnowledge of low voltage supplies and control wiringUK full driving licence Skills and attributes Self-motivated individual with clear focus, able to work in small team under pressureProven team leadershipEvidence of practical engineering experience and competenceEvidence of safe working attitude towards self and othersDemonstrated ability to interpret informationDemonstrated good oral and written communication skillsEvidence of completing and finishing tasks to a high standardAble to represent the company at all times; well presented, polite, courteous, punctual Hours of work average of 37.5hrs per week with overtime payment to reflect hours worked above this on a monthly basis Role involves working on customer sites normally staying away from home from Monday - Friday Further detail on role CAD Understand and interpret 2d and 3d drawings Ability to take measurements from drawings and apply to site Installation includes Assembly and levelling of machine frameAssembly and fitting of electrical componentsFitting of panels and cut outsHanging and fitting conveyors and transitions and outputsWiring of low voltage controlsFitting and wiring of control PCsFitting glass shelvesCleaning system and site after installationClearing packaging waste Customer facing role Answering questions from customer; technical and general Asking for input during the installation from customer or their representative
