A market leading, profitable and successful company is seeking a highly skilled Injection Mould Setter to join there busy, high volume FMCG manufacturing and assembly facility. The Injection Mould Setter will report directly to the Manufacturing Manager within the Plastic Processing department and be responsible for setting the injection moulding machine and assisting in the development of continuous improvements, cost reduction and improvement initiatives. The successful Injection Mould Setter will be required to carry out the following duties but not limited to: Setting injection moulding machinesTool changesEnsuring machine efficientlyComplete and record all Quality checks as specified by the Quality DepartmentCare and maintenance of all Mould Tools (ensuring they are suitable for tasks required)Training of Machine OperatorsMaintaining a safe working environmentEnsure all paperwork is up to dateEnsure quality standards are met (inform appropriate department of non-conformities)Ensuring all work is completed safely and with relevant authorisationAssist in Maintaining and updating moulding parameters and registerUtilise slow work periods to improve machine efficienciesProvide day to day support to Supervisors To be successful in your application as an Injection Mould Setter you will be required to hit the ground running and have previous experience working within a busy injection moulding facility within one of the following roles Injection Mould Setter, Setter / Technician, Technical Setter, Process Engineer, Process Technician or Plastic Moulding Technician. Ideally you will be able to load injection mould tools (up to 10T), fault find basic moulding issues and able to read & measure critical dimension from a technical component drawing. Salary: Circa 33,500 working on a unique continental shift pattern - Birmingham area
