Temps Ltd are looking for an assembly worker to join one of our clients, on an ongoing basis with the potential of being a permanent position for the right candidate. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: Responsibilities will include cutting raw materials, bending & cold-forming, finish-grinding, sub-assembly (stalks, brackets, flow-drilling, banjos, etc.), misc welding, assembly, in-house polishing and quality checking in accordance with Delta job card 59010 or other issued NA shortages or defects present in raw material, standard components or dedicated components to Inspection or Purchasing as soon as they become NA out all activities to pre-agreed timescales in accordance the Plan Of The Week or other NA in other teams, or on site if NA back ideas for improving efficiency, safety and NA existing Health & Safety systems to ensure safe working practicesAttending training as required and constantly aiming to develop relevant knowledge and NA good housekeeping in the Stock Area. Job purpose: To carry out manufacturing activities, some of which are described within the company under the SATO process. That is to control incoming stock and components, pre manufacture or assembly of small parts, to progress balusters from the machined state towards finishing once released by inspection and to support other teams, so as to maintain and develop agreed delivery targets and quality standards. Main objectives: To ensure the safety and welfare of staff at all NA work at all times within the confines of the companys quality NA maximize workflow at all times by guaranteeing the presence of all necessary items that feature on the PRF, inventory or other picking NA liaise with inspection so as to only process parts that are proven to meet the required standard or conformance to NA stock-pick all items required for each sub job within 2 workdays of it being released from Design Verification & to always notify purchasing of any shortages within that NA help optimize output by the elimination of over-processing or bottlenecks by the completion of all functions set out in the company procedures (SATO).To eradicate remakes attributed to misreading of drawings or specifications, omissions & material NA help achieve the maximum number of PASS scores per week available from the ex-works schedule. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas however these are not essential.
