Our client is an award winning Housing Association providing affordable homes and support services to over 15,000 customers across NA provide a choice of high quality, affordable homes including; properties for rent, shared ownership, sheltered accommodation and extra care, as well as homes for people with NA have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join their Asset & Investment team. Working as a Planned Maintenance Officer (known internally as a Planned & Cyclical Officer) with an electrical specialism, you will be directing external contractors as needed to ensure that they comply with their statutory and legal requirements relating to NA the role you will also manage contracts to ensure their servicing, repairs, maintenance and replacement of relevant plant and machinery are undertaken effectively whilst also ensuring expenditure is kept within budget and achieves value for money. You will undertake post inspection work undertaken by contracts and work with the Asset & Investment Team Leader to assist with the tendering of servicing and repair NA be successful you will have a working knowledge of the electrical installation regulations, be up to date with the Latest Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations and have a relevant technical qualification that is the equivalent to an NVQ3 or above along with a time-served apprenticeship in a relevant NA of working within a social housing environment is preferable with knowledge of Health and Safety legislation. You should have good attention to detail, working to high standards of accuracy are essential to be successful in this role.
