Technical Salesperson (Europe) Eye, Suffolk Permanent, Full time Competitive Salary and generous benefits Hales Group are looking for a Technical Sales Professional to support their clients planned growth in Europe and to further build in there significant investment in the Business Units to date for their established manufacturing client based in Eye, Suffolk . This post offers a significant opportunity to join a successful Sales Team and would suit an applicant who has experience of sales through distributor channels, multicultural international business acumen, the energy and ambition to be an active participant in the Companys business and although not a prerequisite of the role , a technical background with formal qualifications eg: ONC / HND / degree would be an advantage This role will require the following: Supporting the Area Sales Manager in achieving the targets setWith the aid of a computerized pricing program, issue price lists and additional pricing material, prepare competitive estimates, submission of quotations and tenders for the company product range Ensure pricing levels are maintained to achieve marginsLiaise with the Client and Company Engineering Department to ensure the correct specification for the clients requirementsCarry out commercial negotiations under the supervision of senior managementEnsure that all essential information to progress the orders is available prior to handover to other internal servicesAssisting finding, appointing, training, motivating and monitoring new distributors to the company products and ISO proceduresAssist in the preparation of monthly forecasts and reportsDeveloping strong operational relationships with customers within a challenging and competitive marketplaceControl of promotion and travel within budget costsBe willing to travel extensively to off the beaten track locationsSupport and attend Exhibitions and Sales SeminarsComputer literacy - demonstrable familiarity with common business software including word /PowerPoint/ Outlook, Presentation programs & Microsoft Office ProjectGood verbal and written communication skills This is an excellent opportunity for an applicant with a strong commitment to contribute directly to the companys objectives for sales growth in a challenging and competitive global marketplace If you would like to apply for this position please submit your CV via the 'apply now' option or contact Maxine Shulver at our Diss branch to discuss the position further
