Our client is looking for a temp Factory Manager Client Details A leading industry firm Description Take charge of and hold responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Factory. (This includes its buildings, equipment, fixtures and fittings, its security and safety and its amenities.)The supervision of all staff within its precincts to ensure their compliance with company standards on matters of safety and food hygiene, good working practices, quality , attendance, discipline and NA support a flexible supportive adjunct to the management team in the cost-effective running of the organisation. Ensure that all stock is controlled and rotated according to the Company Food Safety and Quality Manual. Ensure that all products are labelled according to Company specifications and legal requirements. Initiate Product Recall Ensure all staff is fit to work and have the correct clean NA goods received NA stock is stored in correct area and that all items are used in strict rotation. (FIFO first in, first out)Stock NA Company Buyer of stock levels and replenishing NA all HACCP monitoring records are completed dailyWhen necessary, due to staff holidays /absences, carry out hands on production of NA non-conforming items in the goods reject NA of Staffing on a day-to-day basis within each NA of tasks to meet production schedules and NA Holiday cover for each department where it is NA and Train New NA Recall Policy if applicableIdentify Training needs of Staff working within the Production Area with regard to the Quality Manual, Food Safety and Health and NA that Cleaning allocated has been carried out according to the Company's cleaning schedules and cleaning NA all products according to Company specificationsIn event of a Fire ensure that company evacuation procedures are followed and notify the emergency NA that all Accidents are reported and recorded in the Accident Book and if relevant that RIDDOR form is completed and sent to Health and Safety Executive and local NA at all times with the Health & Safety Act 1974, resultant regulations, codes of practice, the company's Health and Safety policy and risk NA, at all times with the Company's Food Hygiene standards and the Food Law , Regulations (EC)178/2000, Regulations (EC) No 852/2004, No 853/2004 , No 854/2004 on the hygiene of Foodstuffs, The Food Hygiene (Scotland) Regulations 2006,Food Safety Act 1990 and other relevant NA the highest levels of Personal Hygiene at all NA to management for further action, where an incidence of unsatisfactory conduct, misconduct, absenteeism or lack of competence has NA Management Review meetings and discuss, review, upgrade any issues relating to Quality, Food Safety and Health and NA all access points to the premises are secured and lights are switched off at the end of each day. Profile Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of building and leading successful factory teamsPrevious food industry experience is essential in an equivalent positionBasic Food Hygiene and Health & SafetyHACCP CertificationComputer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook) and SAP if possibleAccountability & ExecutionCustomer FocusTeamwork & CooperationActs & thinks StrategicallyCoachingInnovationManaging ChangeNegotiating & InfluencingDynamic & Inspirational Leadership People Management Job Offer A competitive rate
