PURPOSE OF POST The management have a shared commitment that the company will provide a profitable delivery of Presentation Services combined with outstanding standards of quality within the management of our own resources, the delivery of our services to each other and to our clients. Within the above commitment you are responsible for the smooth delivery of events which includes the following key responsibilities. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Preparing, delivering, installing, operating and de-rigging the audio-visual equipment that we supply to our clientsTechnicians should have a good all-round technical abilityAbility to oversee local crew and freelance techniciansInstallation of Set & Staging elements on-site when required to do soAssisting the Warehouse Technicians with the preparation and transfer of equipment between storage, prep areas and transportationStrong customer service is essential to maintain and build the businessExperience within a client facing environmentTo ensure the security of the companys assets when working on site and in the warehouseIn carrying out the above responsibilities, helping to achieve the best balance of cost control and service quality OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION You may be required to work periods within the warehouse during busy times returning to your onsite duties after each periodYou may be required to drive, so a full driving license is required Outlined below are the key skills, experience and behaviours required to undertake this post. TECHNICAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION & TRAINING Demonstrable literacy and numeracy skills and a desire to develop further technical skillsEager to learn whilst showing a willingness to continually develop new skillsEssential - technical or related AV industry qualificationsFull UK clean driving licence EXPERIENCE Experience in at least two of the following areas: - Lighting & Data Projection - Sound BEHAVIOURS/COMPETANCIES Happy working in a team environment supporting colleagues to deliver our events to a high standardGood time management skills & reliability in order to adapt to regularly changing demands and prioritiesGood communication skillsFlexible outlook within a demanding industry/roleThe ability to proactively resolve problems or escalate promptly as requiredAn awareness of the importance of high quality customer service (both internal & external)Understanding and promoting our vision in relation to intent and valuesThe successful candidate will also be required to maintain current awareness of the events industry
