Position: Technical Sales EngineerLocation: UK wide coverage ( based from one of UK Hubs, London, Sheffield , Bristol ) Experience: 5+ YearsStatus: Full-Time, EmployeeSalary Range: 35- 40k plus NA have an immediate need for an innovative, results-oriented Technical Sales professional that desire a challenging, fast-paced environment in which to apply their skills. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and possesses a professional attitude and an exceptional work ethic. He / she must also be able to perform with minimal supervision and deliver solutions to our customers on schedule and within NA: Work independently and on group sales initiatives in a professional office environment Travel between the different offices based in the UK and visit potential clients to sell Austins value propositions and the benefits of working with our solutions. Good knowledge of software development and requirements for system integration Undertake all aspects of the sales cycle: developing and managing sales strategy (territory and account planning), client identification, warm and cold calling, conduct client meetings to position Austins value proposition and align with clients technical and business objectives. Results focused to identify , manage and drive opportunities to successful completion: including identify new business and managing new enquiries, qualify and manage process with client, produce quotes, working with Engineering team. Use your expertise to understand your customers requirements and then incorporate your technical knowledge into your sales pitch. This will involve demonstrating the effectiveness of your product and explaining how it will provide an ideal technical solution to your clients problems. Provide technical support to your clients once theyve purchased the product. REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate will have: Knowledge of LabVIEW Software Environment Knowledge of National Instruments and their platforms Knowledge of the Python Software Environment Experience in the Aerospace industry. An understanding of Test and Measurement Industry Proven ability to work independently as well as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment and contribute to multiple projects Proven knowledge of adhering and working within a company sales process, utilising and recording information ins a CRM system e.g. Salesforce. Proven background in networking & building contact base through traditional and creative sales techniques e.g. trade events & social media, Account planning and cold calling. Ability to rapidly absorb new concepts and apply them effectivelyABOUT YOU:Preference may be given to candidates with the following attributes and experience. Previously worked in a technical sales position Experience in understanding customer requirements with regards to NI product and Alliance services in a high pressure fast paced sales environment.
