Are you an advanced product quality planning professional with strong experience in developing and executing manufacturing product introduction processes following APQP/VDA or similar procedures at a Senior Engineer level? Do you have experience working with suppliers supporting introduction of new product and ensuring the supply chain follows a robust programme management practices? Can you use your experience to work with suppliers to develop and implement robust and structured new product introduction procedures? Can you exhibit a deep understanding of manufacturing product introduction procedures including core tools and an ability to train and coach others to ensure a high performance safe launch process? Individuals will be required to: Provide training on the elements of safe product launch both on client sites and in our training facilities, ensuring transfer of key skillsProvide coaching support to clients related to the implementation of APQP, VDA or similar project based launch procedures directly at client sitesMaintain an excellent level of competency in the area of Core ToolsSupport the continuous development of our training materials and service offeringsPlay an active part in customer relationship management and lead progressionWork alongside other Industry Forum engineers in multidisciplinary teams as part of continuous improvement programmes Advanced Product Quality Planning | Quality Engineer | Quality Standards | Systems Consultant | Consultant | Quality Standards and Systems Consultant Additional Salary Information: Holiday, Pension, Car Allowance and PMI Essential Criteria: Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following skills and competencies: The capability and experience to deliver training and coach teams in safe launch procedures such as APQP and the Core Tools including: FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP and 8D problem solvingTransferring capability to teams through effective presentation and activity facilitationA minimum of five years of industrial experience, including management responsibility and strong Automotive/Aerospace experienceThe ability to lead and work with teams, building relationships at all levels within an organisationExcellent presentation skillsA strong customer focus with a track record of delivering improved performanceCommercial acumen with the ability to translate improvement objectives and results into tangible financial impactA strong team playing ethos seeking to get involved in all aspects of the business including internal developmentExcellent numeracy and literacy skillsIndustrial management experienceAn appropriate degree such as Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Systems or equivalent. Desirable Criteria: The following skills and competencies would be beneficial: Previous consulting or training experience either within a large organisation or a consulting practiceVDA or other quality system audit certificationWorking understanding of Lean Continuous improvement tools, including 5S, 7 Wastes, Visual Management, Standard Work, Line Balance, Set Up Improvement, Problem Solving, A3 thinking.
