As a Hardware Engineer, you will be at the forefront of expanding the functionality of our clients existing hardware and developing bespoke technologies to meet the challenging demands of their customers. As part of this team, you will be working on complex, bespoke, state-of the art solutions, so this role requires a readiness to learn about and understand their products and technologies. HARDWARE ENGINEER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, implementation and test of analogue and digital electronic hardwareWork with a multidisciplinary team to deliver projects within tight timescalesSkilfully analyse complex project needs and contribute to hardware solutions and written proposals/NA that goals relating to product quality, cost, lead time and manufacturing efficiency are met during the product lifecycleConduct and contribute to peer reviews to assess viability of proposed hardware/ software NA communicate with Project Manager and Team Leader with updates on progress and providing reports when requiredProvide ongoing technical support for developed productsEnsure that project related documentation is complete, accurate and up-to-date SKILLS REQUIRED: Experience with analogue circuit design and modelingExperience in the use of Altium Designer or equivalent for schematic capture and PCB NA integrity design and familiarity of layout involving high speed signalsDesign of circuits utilising microcontrollers and associated componentsDesign of circuits utilising high-speed ADCs and DACsKnowledge of serial interfaces and relevant communication protocols (e.g. I2C, SPI, USB, RS232)PCB prototyping and soldering skills (down to 0603 SMT components)Design for Manufacture and TestDesign for EMC compliance Our client has been recognised by the Deloitte Technology Fast 50, Deloitte EMEA Fast 500 and Sunday Times Fast Track 100.
