Job Location:Ghent or Montoir or Liverpool or AntwerpPosition PurposeLeading a cluster of facilities in the UK and France and Belgium (8 sites)Maintaining a high level of connectivity with the tagged CASC EMEA General Plant Superintendents to these sitesStrategic operational oversight for all production/operating processes for complex plants. Ensures areas of responsibilities meet BU/Plant standards for safety,quality, operational effectiveness and financial NA AccountabilitiesManufacturing - Production Asset Management for the 8 sites in three European Countries: 40 %Ensure that all tagged production facilities comply with the Cargill EHS, Food & Feed/regulatory standards as well as all local rules and regulationsPrepare and follow up on Manufacturing Operating Annual Budget based on the BU Enterprise budget and communicate to the General & Plant Managers at all facilitiesPrepare, implement and follow up the European Manufacturing Annual business planFollow up on the monthly manufacturing operational results (yields, consumables, efficiencies and cost figures) and take appropriate actions to stay on track with budgets and other targets signed-off for. Validate and evaluate manufacturing variable and fixed cost variances actual versus budget, versus last year and outlook for the reminder of the book yearPrepare, implement and follow up on the manufacturing KPIs, including yields, efficiency and reliability improvement opportunitiesImplement and follow up on all Product and Service Quality measures agreed upon with sales and customers throughout (in combination with FSQR)Agree, execute, deliver on production commitments and follow up, at enterprise level, with the Supply Planning job familyDevelop relationships and contacts with our (enterprise) customers, suppliers and authorities and actively support community involvement activitiesManufacturing - Capital Management for the 8 plants: 30%Prepare, implement, execute and follow up (in combination with COEs Mnpls, locations Plant- General Managers) all base and non base capital investments projects in accordance to pre-approved annual budgetsManufacturing - People Management for the 8 plants:30%Instruct and insure that personal, as well as all direct and indirect reports, respect all Company and local Ethical standardsPrepare, implement and follow up ( in combination with HR) necessary people resources plans in order to achieve the operational manufacturing plans for the enterpriseLead, engage and develop the tagged COE leads and Plant ManagersExecute and follow up on PMPs of Plant Managers (jointly with GM if needed) and apply all SMART KRAs and skill development plans aligned with the manufacturing business strategyFor all tagged manufacturing Manager 1 and above , propose and approve the changes in Total Compensation (salary, bonus, options, cars etc) in line with individual performance factors, country market data, guidelines. Coordinate these compensation change proposals with appropriate NA all salary band below Manager 1 technical people have a One Up agreement on proposals for the annual salary reviews and discretionary bonuses and PMP ratings, made by the tagged plant managers.
