Assistant Project manager - Interim fixed term - Worthing 35k Interim - maternity cover for initial 6 months Assistant Project Manager to work with the head of projects and PM team. Will be very much involved in supporting the execution, and completion of all technical projects according to schedule and within budget. Must demonstrate ability to coordinate multiple projects and third-parties in order to deliver projects to plan. Joining a global company who rely on their reputation for precision, the assistant project manager must have a superb eye for detail and excellent organisational skills. Working with high end clients including BP, Exxon, Statoil and Shell. Plus EPC contract clients on delivery, such as Aker, Cameron, ABB, KBR & Technip, the successful Assistant Project Manager must have experience of managing small projects. With experience of technical engineering (coming from an aerospace, automotive, oil and gas, pumps & compressors background, for example) typically you will be involved in supporting other PM's in:- Project Managing multiple projectsLiaising with end clientPreparation and review of technical reports and proceduresDefine, plan, scope and manage multiple projectsTracking and monitoring of work progress and projectsSpecify component parts of projectsTechnical mechanical assessmentAnalysis & problem solving - identifying improvementsImplementing new product/component improvementsWorking with senior management and stakeholders on project and company strategyDocumentation & report writing Requirements: Minimum 3yrs commercial experienceDegree in Engineering disciplineProven experience of managing multi projectsStrong MS Office including Excel, Power point & MS Project experienceExcellent communication skills This role has materialised from a growing company and growing engineering team.
