My client, a leading supplier of MRO and industrial components & services, is looking to recruit a Regional Director to run their branch network in the South of the UK. The Regional Director role comes as the result of a period of positive change within the UK business, led in order to prepare the business for an ambitious growth plan. The role is a rare director-level opportunity to join one of Europe's leading MRO and industrial service providers and play a key part in the development of their UK business. The Regional Director will have responsibility for a significant branch network across the South of the UK. You will provide leadership in maximising profitable sales within the region and establish an effective growth plan for all products and services, generating strategies to increase market share in the region and achieve on or above budgeted results. The key responsibilities of the role will include: Management of P&L, cash flow and working capital for accountable region channels, and develop and manage budget delivery for the region;Enhance the growth strategy and, in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing Director, support the annual development plan through close cooperation with the wider group, fully utilising the in-house CRM system;Act as a senior representative in the region establishing advanced customer relationships, industry networks and implementing appropriate regional communication and marketing approaches to build upon current brand recognition;Regularly review forecasts, pipeline and sales strategies with individual senior personnel ensuring that opportunities are pursued in a timely manner;Increase performance and manage succession planning for roles & personnel in the region in collaboration with the UK HR Director;Lead, inspire and maintain a culture and programme of continuous improvement, while upholding and promoting group values & philosophy. As the successful Regional Director your skills & experience will include: Experience leading a significant branch network, ideally within MRO, industrial components and/or consumables, supplying a diverse customer base;Highly sales-driven leader with a demonstrable track record delivering double digit growth;Competent financial manager with detailed P&L experience able to analyse, diagnose and remedy current/potential issues within the financial performance of your business;Inspirational leader, able to understand the strengths and weaknesses within your senior management team and motivate, coach or develop your people to achieve a higher performance level. The successful Regional Director will receive a salary of approximately 75,000 to 80,000 plus a 40% bonus, car allowance, BUPA and contributory pension. With a significant number of branches across the South of the UK, you can be based anywhere in the region but will be willing to travel in order to fulfil the requirements of your role.
