Injection Moulding Tool Maintenance Engineer Minworth Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:30 then 07:30 to 15:15 on Friday - Banking 1 hour per week. During August and September hours of work are Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:30 with every Friday off Salary in the region of 28K PA Tm Resourcing's Technical division are delighted to be working with a long established manufacturing organisation based in Minworth, Birmingham. They are currently seeking skilled Injection Moulding Tool Maintenance Engineers to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly growing exciting organisation. This is a busy, high volume FMCG manufacturing and assembly factory environment. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Technical Manager and will provide a reliable and professional service ensuring all tooling and equipment is available to use as required to meet production plan across all aspects of the Business. Assist in developing and fostering a continuous improvement culture for site maintenance activity, continually seeking out cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives Core Responsibilities and Performance Measures for this role: Provide Injection Mould tool repairs as directedMaintain all of all Injection Mould tooling as NA all Injection Moulding tools are running efficiently when in Production run NA for the completion and recording of all TPM NA a safe working environment ensuring all gangways are kept free from hazards and all componentry and equipment is stored in the correct NA that all Company procedures, paperwork and methods are adhered to and up to dateMaintain all quality standards are met and appropriate departments informed of non-conformities Other Responsibilities & Duties Responsible for KPIs: OEE, efficiency, quality and conformance ensuring all work is completed safely and with relevant authorisationUndertake fault analysis and corrective actions when requiredBe an active member of the Plastic Processing Production team across all areas and support CIT activities on the shop floorAssist in Maintaining and updating component parameters and registersAssist in the repair of equipment with technicians and other setters where necessaryIdentify equipment not fit for NA day-to-day support to peers and managers as requiredEnsure all pre-production checks are completed in accordance with agreed proceduresPrepare for and assist in stock checks as required by the Company Minimum Qualifications / Experience required: Time served apprentice in a Tool Room is essential with proven track NA experience in repairing Injection Mould tools of varying sizes from 100Kg up to 10-Tonne working on equipment such as lathes, spark eroders, solvent baths, horizontal / vertical grinders & milling machines NA mechanical knowledge with tool assembly and diagnosis experiencePractical knowledge of Injection Mould Tool Design and ProcessesDiagnostic methodology in repairing toolsCoaching and training of Setters and TechniciansExperience of working within strict time limitsQualified to use Hoist / Lifting equipmentManage and control hazardous substances in accordance with appropriate legislation Please note job activities are example of work involved.
