Fire Alarm Technician Helper

About the role
We are currently looking for a talented Fire Alarm Technician Helper to join our Labrador team.

  • Work with Senior Technicians to perform fire alarm installation, service and inspection activities
  • Responsible for meeting customer expectations while performing quality service work
  • Assist Senior Fire Alarm Inspection Technicians in evaluating and diagnosing equipment that requires servicing, assist in new fire alarm panel installations and verifications

Who we’re looking for
  • Minimum High School completion and/or Completion of a Fire Science or Electronics program at a Vocational College
  • Enrollment in CFAA or willing to complete CFAA courses within a specified time frame
  • Ability to transport equipment and tools weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and adept at maneouvering ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, ability to work in a remote area.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of customer service
  • Proficient with MS Office as well as online systems
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment with multiple priorities
  • Candidates must successfully complete an employment background investigation and drug testing
