Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Program Management Support Specialist to join our Norfolk, VA team. This position will sit onsite at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) supporting Hull, Mechanical and Electrical technical codes. Position provides program management support and analysis to include routine and non-routine program correspondence, documentation, presentations, briefings and program reports.

Essential Responsibilities:
  1. Interface with MARMC leadership for planning, prioritization, and issue resolution of overall activities in the support of and achievement of customer goals.
  2. Coordinate and maintain program documentation including plans, schedules, briefings, reports correspondence, contracts/contract modifications, technical instructions/procedures and/or related material.
  3. Prepare routine and non-routine program correspondence, documentation and reports.
  4. Create and maintain master files/schedules related to program history, execution and status for the life of the program (inception to disposal).
  5. Review, evaluate and provide assessments of technical and non-technical program reports; research specific areas and prepare findings.
  6. Perform all other related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field; five (5) years experience in the last10 years in technical writing.
  • Requires operation application software including word-processing, spreadsheet programs and data base development.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in technical documents, technical manuals, charts, graphs, and engineering drawings.
  • Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications.
  • Experience in writing and editing technical documents.
  • Strong MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint, MS Access skills. MS Access preferred.
  • Organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
  • Familiar with DoD and/or DoN HM&E specific terminology, manuals, plans and procedures.
  • Position may require travel.
  • Position requires ACTIVE Security Clearance, ability to obtain a Common Access Card, which requires US citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing employee training matrices and providing written or oral summary reports for managers.
  • Experience developing best practices from analytical reports and data basis.
  • Ability to analyze employee training and professional progress reports.
  • Experience in a professional environment presenting oral or written reports.
