Job Description:The Vendor Administration Analyst is responsible for the creation, implementation and on-going management of processes, tools and metrics used to effectively manage the vendor base. Provides analytical support in relation to Annual Rebate Programs, volume rebates, contracts-interacting frequently with internal stakeholders, and the NA Accountabilities• Monitor and participate in Health and Safety programs designed to ensure our "Everyone Home Safe" initiatives are achieved.• Work closely with Supply Chain team to ensure timely interaction and communication• Provide quantitative analysis of proposed vendor programs to determine overall cost/benefit to the organization• Summarize and report Monthly and quarterly analysis and tracking of supplier programs• Define, implement, and monitor key Supply Chain and Vendor metrics, and vendor qualification criteria• Perform analysis and analytical support to the department as needed• Ensure utmost quality of data within Wajax systems. Provide recommendations and assist in processes or projects aimed at cleansing data, enabling optimal level of analysis.• Review, summarize, and provide recommendations on vendor programs, distribution agreements, and other stakeholder agreements or documentation.• Liaise with Corporate legal team and provide recommendations for negotiation with vendors. • Work collaboratively with vendors to finalize agreements. File and maintain agreements• Support SC leadership with preparation for quarterly vendor meetings, and follow up of resulting action items• Support in development and rollout of any new departmental processes, tools, or projects.• Other initiatives and duties as required Position Requirements:Education: Undergraduate degree (BBA) or Diploma in recognized and appropriate field. Analytically trained.• Work Experience: Experience in Supply Chain or Operations vendor environments required. Exposure and ownership of contract management activities required. • Knowledge: Bilingual (English and French) is an asset. Strong working knowledge of data control practices & processes and Integrated Supply Chain concepts. Lean and Continuous improvement experience is an asset. General knowledge of industrial goods and equipment. • Superior reasoning and analytical skills required.• Proficiency: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
