Job Description:

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: · Possess combination of analytical and strategic minded skills with an entrepreneurial instinct. Highly collaborative with proven skills in developing consensus from diverse opinions in a highly fluid and sometimes ambiguous environment. · Ability to manage and lead through influence and strength of data driven business propositions. · Business savvy with leadership approach that will convey a level of enthusiasm, energy and drive to both internal and external customers. Significant contributor to providing the stimulation and shared sense of urgency to improve overall procurement performance through rapid change to best practices and achievement of key targets. · Procurement experience to include broad range of relevant commodities with demonstrated ability to lead and manage a center led procurement organization. · Excellent supplier relationship management skills, along with the ability to manage teams. · Strong personal work ethics and standards, assuming responsibility for successful completion of individual and team objectives. · Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments concurrently, including ability to assess and manage priorities. · Proactive, results oriented, with an ability to effect change through the power of influence in the absence of direct authority. · Intellectually rigorous and confident, but with humility that will resonate culturally across the organization. Courage, strength of conviction, and strong organizational presence to establish immediate credibility across the organization. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: · Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline; MBA and/or Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) desirable · 10 + years Procurement experience in Automotive Production Purchasing or Commercial Industry required · Minimum 5 years of managerial experience · Strategy development and execution experience required · Strong background in Cost Reduction and Process Improvement initiatives · Demonstrated competence in negotiating skills · Must be highly effective at communicating: · Commodity strategies â€" ability to get buy-in · With internal Customers and Suppliers · With peers to set short, mid and long-term direction · Strong Interpersonal Skills â€" position interacts with all levels of Management · Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
