Java Developer (Web Services & API's)|
Are you a Java Developer with a strong understanding and experience with Web Services development and/or Middleware technologies?
My global client with their head office in Coventry, are looking for a confident Java Developer to lead and develop a vital part of the IT team.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, a developer who is looking to step up to assist and coach the existing team for their API development and deployment. This role will evolve into a SOA Architect position over the next 12 months, a really exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career and move into an architect role. You'll get stuck into heaps of new stuff and work with the team to develop and create exciting new ideas and concepts to help their clients achieve their brand objectives.
What I am looking for:
* A solid background in Java Development
* Knowledge and experience of Agile methodologies
* Web Services development and/or middleware technologies (SOAP,REST,XML,JSON)
* Knowledge with API management
* An understanding of Linux operating systems
