The Capacity Event Services team provides availability, performance, and compliance monitoring services to the Baker Hughes Server, Storage, and Network Infrastructure environments. Additionally, we provide automation for server builds and compliance reporting. As a Technical Analyst III, you will be providing architecture, administration, and reporting for these services.

  • Administration and Architecture for Systems Center 2012/2016 environment including Systems Center Orchestrator, Systems Center Operations Manager, Systems Service Manager, and Desired State Configuration Manager.
  • Administration and Development of Server Image Deployment Process
  • Administration and Support for SQL Server instances supporting Systems Center systems
  • Requirements gathering of automation tasks and compliance tasks
  • Development of scripts for compliance, reporting, and automation activities
  • Create dashboards to summarize availability, performance, and compliance data
  • Participate on infrastructure projects as assigned

  • Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field or equivalent.
  • 7 years of system/administrator experience in a client server environment.
  • Expert level knowledge of System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)
  • Working knowledge of Systems Center Service Manager, Desired State Configuration Manager, and Orchestrator including Workflow development
  • SQL Server Administration Experience
  • Group Policy Development Skills
  • PowerShell scripting with focus on data extraction, transformation, and transfer
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and document requirements documents

  • Server Imaging and Deployment Experience leveraging Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Unattended answer files, Windows AIK, and WinPE
  • Security Best Practice knowledge for Wintel / Linux Operating Systems - Security certifications would be considered a plus
  • Experience or exposure to additional monitoring tools such as Solarwinds or CA Spectrum
  • IIS / Apache Tomcat administration experience
  • VMWare administration experience
  • ITIL v3 Foundation certification
