The Customer Development & Innovation Manager will report to the Head of Major Accounts and will work with the senior Sales team to formulate and execute the Group Sales strategy within timescales. They will research and develop new business opportunities including the analysis and provision of new and existing customer and competitor intelligence. Additionally the Customer Development and Innovation manager will be involved in the evaluation of new products and potential new markets and will sit within the group innovations committee.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in a similar role
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate at senior level
* Confidence in presenting
* Business development & reporting skills
* Experience in a similar industry is preferred but not essential
