Due to continued success, Mick George Ltd are now looking for an Earthworks Contracts Manager to join the rapidly expanding Contracting department.
The ideal candidate will be an influential leader with strong contract/ project management skills within the Earthworks industry.
About the Role
•Effective contract management of multiple Earthworks projects.
•To organise and coordinate all resources relating to project such as staff and plant.
•To ensure projects are successfully run and completed whilst meeting time, cost and quality expectations.
•Continual contact with the client, ensuring they are updated throughout duration of project, and that expectations are met.
•To play an active part in Pre- Start meetings.
•The management of all operational staff on site, including any issues that may arise e.g. grievances or disciplinaries.
•To undertake coaching and development of staff on site to ensure continuous improvement.
•The production of project reports.
Key Skills & Experience
•Extensive Earthworks experience.
•Proven experience in either contract management or multi-site project management.
•Strong negotiation skills.
•The ability to suggest and implement own ideas as well as develop others to ensure continual Improvement.
•Excellent commercial awareness.
•SMSTS & CSCS Gold Card
•Full UK Driving License required.
